'You Said It!' Two of the many ingredients that contribute to the success portion of any Association are encouraging words & suggestions for improvements. Some of the latest feedback on past events are put below:- Dear President, committee members and the missed members, I hereby thank the association for having taken special interest in celebrating the PONGAL DAY and making it a memorable one. When there are many to entertain us with various perfomances a very few make us laugh and one among them is undoubtedly mr.Rajaram.He,with some baffling interpretations drew the attention of the audience and in particular that of children's(which was very difficult) and were all left out of breath with laughter. The committee came out with the brilliant idea of inviting the 'Women of the month'for cutting the cake.needless to say that everybody enjoyed the delicious food which was the final event.I wish for many more similar programmes.Thanking you, Geetha thyagarajan Dear president and other committee members, I wish to thank you for the wonderful picnic organised at Mamzar park.it was a great day and we all enjoyed it very much.thanks again for all your efforts. regards janakasudha and family. Hi Girija, Happy pongal to you. Read your very interesting mail. As I could not attend the function on the 17th, I felt very bad but your very detailed mail, cheered me up and made me feel as if I had witnessed the function. Thanks a lot. Eagerly awaiting for the next programme. With warm regards Jayanthi Govindrajan Dear Muralidhar(S), It was a good show.We have to thank Girija for the Strong request to control the children both through E mail and speech. The effect was seen and felt. By reiterating this message in future also,we will be able to achieve the end result. Another smart action was the packed packet.Every body got their share as well as could move to their other commitments too(satisfied).Function also ended in time(saving of 1 to 1.5 hours dinner time) Hope you too had a nice eventful get together V.Rajamani Thanks for organising a wonderful & memorable evening. May i request you to have the Site wherein we can have the glimpse of the photos. Dr Usha
Dr.Usha we have updated the site with the photos.Go to the EVENT PHOTOS to view the same. Mr.Raj husband of Member Nirmala Raj writes... "CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL TLA'S COMMITTEE MEMBERS. YESTERDAY'S(w.r.t Diwali Programme) EVENT WAS FABULOUS AND THERE ARE LOT OF IMPROVEMENTS THAN BEFORE.KEEP IT UP. CHILDREN THOROUGHLY ENJOYED AND SO DID THE ELDERS,SEEING THE CHILDREN HAVING LOTS OF FUN. MAY BE THE HALL COULD HAVE BEEN LITTLE BIGGER.ON THE WHOLE I WOULD SAY IT WAS FABULOUS AND ALL THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS TEAM SPIRIT HAS MADE THE EVENT POSSIBLE, WELL ORGANISED AND WELL COMMUNICATED TOO THROUGH E-MAIL. P.S: I have one suggestion, now that we are in the internet age, where contacts over globe has become easier, why dont you think in terms of making contacts with Tamil association world over and share the events newsletters and have some kind of co-ordination in terms of the members getting to know the contacts, which may help in so many ways, in terms of those planning holidays to those countries can avail their guidance and kids education or anything for that matter. Please give a thought and I am sure you may come up with something interesting." Another enthusiastic member VASANTHA BASKAR writes... "3 Cheers to the TLA Committee for a well organised Get Together! ! ! ! A Grand Diwali Party at the Grand Hotel!! South meets North! The people of Tamil Nadu were exposed to the music of Punjab.Your ideas and the party was Jara Hatt Ke! Tamil Ladies Association's one more feather to the cap! This party would not have been possible without the hard work and cooperation of the committee members.I am really proud to be a member of the TLA. It was for the first time that all sections of the crowd were entertained.Planning was just too good.At first the kids were entertained with magic shows etc.Secondly, the teenagers danced to the Bhangras. Then the couples were asked to join.Wonderful.The DJ of the evening was extremely good with his Tamil (really surprising!) and English.Whose idea was this?Congrats for a well thought evening! Then comes the dinner.Well, the dinner was very tasty and up to the mark. The Diwali Gift was the icing on the cake.Very nice and I feel proud to keep it in our Puja room.Thoughtful idea. A small suggestion: Nalli Silks was the sponsor. I feel they need a lot more mileage than what has been given to them so far. Thanks Nalli for everything. Once again Congrats for a job well done! And keep up the good work!" Following is the feedback after the wonderful picnic we had on the 21st December. Mrs Janakasudha along with her family have this to say to us...
